These support groups and events are provided by our community partners, but does not reflect an exhaustive list of all grief support options. If you do not find what you are looking for, please connect with a Helpline volunteer via phone or email and they will help identify grief supports that may fit your needs.

First Step Grief Support Group

Our support group is designed for those who are struggling with the pain of losing a significant person. Trained and experienced facilitators walk with participants on a journey through healing by offering coping tools, support and the chance to share feelings and stories.

This support group is for adults grieving the death of someone to homicide. Some common responses to traumatic loss: shame, guilt, rage panic attacks and mood swings anxiety and depression feeling out of control We encourage you to tell your story and to honor the life of the person who has died.
